Pressure Cooking Classes
Pressure cooking is a great way to save time, energy and improve food nutrients. It is the best way for a busy cook to create a healthy meal in minutes. It only takes 8 minutes to pressure cook many soups and risottos. I’ll show you how to use and care for your pressure cooker and how to find good recipes. In this class, we will use both electric and stovetop pressure cookers to cook a meal. A sample menu includes: Pulled Pork Carnitas, Not-Refried Beans, Cilantro Lime Brown Rice, and chocolate cheesecake. The menu can be adjusted to dietary needs such as vegetarian or allergies.
I offer these classes once a month at my house and cost is only $20 a person. Please contact me at 815-529-6954 or firstname.lastname@example.org for the current schedule. I will also schedule private classes for 6-8 people – contact me for details. Dinner and non-alcoholic drinks are provided with the class fee, but I encourage you can BYOB and make it into a fun night out!
